The presentation took place at a meeting of the expert council of ANO “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects” under the leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to experts, the implementation of these directions will help reduce the load on the transport network and create an area that combines a high-tech, business and public space.
“Gorskaya is quite an interesting area in terms of its location,” said General Director of Megaline. The object is located in the area of the dam and a former construction site of about 150 hectares.
Megaline plans to create a high-tech business and public space on an area of more than 110 hectares. Four directions have been chosen as drivers for the development of the territory: IT-village (the largest innovation cluster in the North-West District), modern industrial and warehouse facilities of light industrial format (premises with an area of up to 2000 square meters, which are in demand among small and medium-sized businesses), hotel and service infrastructure, as well as a cultural cluster. Public spaces, a Dam Museum with an observation deck, landscaped embankments, bike paths and other infrastructure for comfortable urban environment will appear here.
Vladimir Putin was invited to announce the winner of the competition. The event will take place as part of SPIEF-2022.
